Genomic NTM for heifers were wrong in February 2016
NTM for genomically tested heifers are normally calculated with same weight factors as bulls. However weight factors belonging to cows with own performance were used in February run 2016. The only difference between the two sets of weight factors are that yield have a lower weight for cows with own performance than bulls.
The result was that genomically tested heifers with a high yield index dropped in NTM in February run. The correct weight factors were used in the March run, and all genomically tested heifers have today a correct NTM.
