New Interbeef breeding values
Now there are new official Interbeef breeding values on a common DFS scale published for Adjusted Weaning Weight (AWW) direct effect for the breeds Charolais and Limousin.

New on the top lists are that international names and national ID of the animals are shown.

NAV evaluation
The first NAV routine evaluation for this year took place as scheduled. The NAV Bull Search has been updated with the new EBV’s and GEBV’s. In this evaluation GEBV’s for young stock survival for RDC and Holstein was published for the first time as well as GEBV’s for fat and protein percent. Also the function of showing phenotypic values (breed averages and bull’s effect) has been extended with more traits.

NAV Workshop 2016
NAV Workshop was held in Copenhagen 14th of January. Over 70 persons participated from all three countries and discussed about breeding goals and how to develop breeding. In group work participants discussed wether to include young stock survival in to NTM and about efficient cow.
